Christmas morning was an early one as Isaac decided to wake up crying a little after 6 am. So, we decided to just get up and start our Christmas day. He didn't notice the tree and once he saw me, he came to say hi. When Daddy told him, "Santa came," he looked around asking, "Where's Santa Claus?," expecting that Santa came to visit. It was a delayed reaction, but then things started to click and he was quite excited when he got to open his stocking first. When he saw the wrapped gifts in the stocking, he went to put them under the tree with the other gifts. Too cute! It was a day long event and Levi napped through most of the morning gift opening. We were able to Skype with both families and they were able to watch the little ones open gifts. Kids sure make it exciting and we are truly Blessed to have such a wonderful family!

| Levi - 9 Months |
Height - 28.75" (73 cm) (61.49%)
Head Circumference - 17.52" (44.5 cm) (34.33%)
Levi is always on the go! He loves his freedom and prefers to crawl to the nearest object so he can stand up and try taking off to the next object. He has begun separation anxiety and screams if I leave the room and will take off on a mad crawl to come find me.
He just got 4 top teeth all at the same time. These are the first teeth since his bottom 2 came in at around 4 1/2 months.
He throws tantrums and is very dramatic in hopes we will buckle. It is quite funny how he will lay on the ground and cry with his head buried into the floor. It's hard not to laugh.
He still adores his Daddy and brother, Isaac. Favorite game to play with them is to chase and to be chased. He's a quick learner and loves to play new games with Daddy.
He eats pretty well, loves the water, and wants to get into anything Isaac is playing with. He sleeps wonderfully, goes to bed without any problems, and prefers to be laid done immediately when he's tired so he can go to sleep. Typically he will sleep through the night until around 5 for a feeding then back to bed for a couple more hours.
He doesn't seem to have as much of an interest in books as Isaac did at such a young age, but does seem to enjoy music. He does love to play with balls and many sensory things that he can squish and pull.

| Isaac - 27 months |
"Buddy the Elf" showed up this year to our home and enjoys to watch Isaac from a different location in our home each day. Isaac tells Buddy good morning and will run up to him to tell him a nice thing he did for one of us at home. He may not understand the full extent of Buddy and his magical powers, but he does enjoy finding him each day. In his own words, he explains that Buddy will go to Santa and make Santa happy. (Thanks Ga Ga Shaw for telling Buddy where we lived so he can be our very own Elf on the Shelf!)
Other current interests:
The PBS channel has become a favorite including shows like Curious George, Super Why and The Cat in the Hat.
Still crazy on his little Strider bike and loves to ride bike with Daddy.
Still loves singing and dancing and has begun to sing words to songs and dances pretty well with rhythm and a beat. Music class was a hit with this boy!
Continues to do really well with numbers and letters. Likes to count objects, identify numbers (beginning to work on numbers larger than 10), He is currently working on letter sounds and words that begin with letters. For example, if I ask what letter Butterfly starts with, he will tell the "The letter B." I will pick random objects around the house, and ask him what letter it starts with and he is pretty good at some basic sounds like B, F, D, etc.
His smile lights up the room and he has such a sweet side to his personality. He does very well to help Mom and his overall very sweet to his little brother. He does not like to see Levi cry and will try to give him a toy or something to make him stop crying. However, he does want to take things out of Levi's hands at times, but if we make a game out of taking turns, he usually is excited to share. But he continues to want to test boundaries and limits and Mom and Dad continue to work diligently to set them.

Isaac LOVES music class. They were offering a short holiday session and Levi made it for free cause he was under 9 months old, so I signed the boys up. I'm so glad I did. Isaac really enjoyed it! I now get to enjoy hearing the little singing voice in the backseat and it's so precious to me. I captured these videos while driving to music class and didn't know that Isaac tried to mouth the words to the songs in between the words that he knows. I laughed so hard when I saw what I actually captured.
Aunt Sam got the boys their own Nativity set. They have a blast with it. Well, Isaac enjoys putting the animals on the top to be funny, but does very good putting everyone in the correct places. Levi enjoys putting them in his mouth. Joseph was originally referred to as "Jeez-oph," which I think you can hear in the video.
