A simple Father's Day, but the boys enjoyed giving Daddy gifts and lots of thanks for being the best daddy in the world.  Joe is truly a great husband and father.  We are super blessed!

Joe built this (totally over-engineered, but super cool) sandbox for the boys.  Already there has been lots of digging, sand castles, and buried little legs in the sandbox.  And best of all, Joseph doesn't put the sand in his mouth!!! And not best of all...there is sand all over the house, sand settled at the bottom the the tub, and sand rubbed off in the boys' beds!

Upon looking out the window at a clear sunny morning during breakfast, Isaac says, "It's not a cloudy day again, maybe Jesus vacuumed up the clouds today."

Every Monday we learn a new "memory verse."  This week was John 3:16. We read a story about a brother and sister who wanted to give Jesus a gift and do so by singing praise and giving their time to help their church.  So during out discussion after the story, I asked Isaac, "What gifts can we give to Jesus?"  Isaac responds, "Um, maybe some ice cream treats and chocolate milk?"

Since last month, we have sprouted 2 more bottom teeth (total of 4 bottom) and just now a top/middle tooth and another beside it is coming (and its not the other middle one). I think it's gonna look kinda funny if the other top/middle one doesn't sprout soon. :-)

He loves to stand up and has begun to walk along things.  He says "ma ma ma" in what seems like he is trying to tell me he wants "more" food.  He nods his head (ok, really nods his whole body) sometimes for a "yes" response. He loves to talk back with his own baby language while having long conversations with you.  He seems to be pretty verbal to me, but I guess with Levi being slow to talk, any noise from Joseph seemed advanced. Lol! He can give you a high five and a wave. He plays shy and gives the sweetest hugs! He pushes his head away when I try to give him baby food by spoon, and prefers primarily only food he can pick up and put in his mouth. He also likes music and dancing just like Isaac!
