Joe's parents we able to come out for a couple of weeks and were a great help!  Isaac immediately remembered Pop Pop, and they were pretty much inseparable from the start.  Joe's dad is able to stay for a few extra weeks to help with the boys.  Yeah for me!!!:-)

I don't know if it's his personality or just that this is my second time around with parenting, but Levi seems to be pretty "pedictable." It doesn't seem like its a game to figure out what he needs.  He is pretty simple, sleeps often and screams bloody murder when he is hungry.  A little fussiness in the evenings and then quiets down for bedtime.  He usually has one 3-4 hour sleep period to start the evening and then every 2 hours after that.  I hope that "sleeping through the night" comes earlier than 11 months like it was with Isaac.  He is about 11 pounds at 1 month old and is still long and skinny, even though you can still find some rolls on his arms and thighs. :-)  It didn't take any time to fall in love with him...he is absolutely precious!

Isaac is loving having his grandparents here and all the extra attention that comes with it!  At 19 months, he continues to enjoy anything outdoors. Thank goodness spring is here!  He has trained himself to let us know when he has to go "poo" on the potty.  Now we need to work on letting us know when we needs to go "pee"on the potty.  But, no dirty diapers from him in over a month....I'm okay with that!!!  We are in the middle of working on his "new" bedroom, so I'm interested to see how he will adjust to yet another change.

His big brother skills are settling in.  Yesterday while Levi was crying, he walked over to a pacifier, picked it up and came back and handed it to me.  He looked at me like, "Duh mom, put that into his mouth and he'll be quiet."  I think things are going to be just fine between them. :-)

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him."    John 3:16-17

Isaac has begun to show interest in being potty training, so let it begin!  He has continuously signaled to us when he needs to go "poo" and has been successful for over a week!  We have a feeling he's gonna be potty trained before he can talk.  He enjoys the extra positive attention (especially with Levi around now), and enjoys a fig newton as a reward.  Huggies Pull-ups now ordered...

My mom came out to help for almost 2 weeks when Levi was born.  The first few days were rough for Isaac as she flew in the same day I brought Levi home.  He didn't care for Momma carrying around his new brother, and it didn't take long for Isaac to figure out that he was gonna have lots of fun while Gamma was here.  They enjoyed many days outside playing and lots of fun meals and baths.  She was a tremedous help, and it was great to have her here to enjoy both grandsons.
