Levi is still nonstop.  He loves to run, chase, climb, and jump!  He has little interest in books or coloring, but really likes balls and trucks.  I don't think I will have the ease of teaching him as I do with Isaac as he doesn't want to sit still unless he's eating.  However, Levi understands everything!  When asked to feed the dogs he runs to the dog bowls to bring them to the closet where the dog food is.  When asked to wash hands, he runs to the bathroom to step on the stool and begin the hand washing process.  He has his own way of communicating when he wants to eat, a drink, go outside, etc.  He still isn't saying any words even though he had said "ma-ma" with no direct meaning of mother and "ya-ya-ya" when he's mad. He throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way, and we've even had a couple episodes of timeout.  Put both of his parents characteristics together and you get a very stubborn, strong-willed little boy. He has kisses and hugs to die for.  He is completely off of breast milk now and is eating from the moment he gets up until he sleeps.  He can show you his head, wave bye, honk your nose, give you a high-five and give kisses. He has also begun to turn on his tummy to go down steps which is a great advantage for me.  But with no fear, he still doesn't care if he just walks off a step either.

This stage Isaac is in has been so much fun.  Even though he still challenges us with boundaries and sees what he can get away with...he is an absolute hoot!!!  He is saying the sincerest, funniest comments.  He is still loving to learn and enjoys his new preschool curriculum we have been working with.  Even though he already knows his letters, shapes, colors and numbers, he has begun to practice sight words, tracing letters, and memorizing Bible verses.  It is so amazing how quick this boy learns.  It makes the teacher in me truly enjoy "school time" everyday.  Potty training is pretty much the same.  Overall, he is very loving and caring towards Levi, but we still have "moments" where he just wants our undivided attention and doesn't want to share with Levi at all.  But, he doesn't like to see Levi cry, will share the best of his treats with him, and will hold his had to help him up if needed.

Arvada Kite Festival
My new kite!

Lessons from Daddy

Ta da!

Great day for kite kite flying!

Ours was way up there!

Hey look!

Its supposed to be my nap time, but I like watching all the people.

Levi and Isaac looking at the alpaca.

20 week ultrasound was great to see, and all looked good with bones and organs.  Can't wait to meet this little guy and welcome him to our family!

Still adventurous as ever.  He loves to climb on boxes and jump off.  Still has no fear of steps or anything that could potentially hurt him.  He's actually running pretty fast now that he's so mobile.

Isaac's first fully memorized Bible verse without any help from me!

Matthew 5:16  "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
